Farming estate – Trappe, MD

Located in the south central portion of Talbot County, the Trappe area extends from Island and Trippe Creeks to the lower portions of the Choptank River.  Trappe incorporates farming, agricultural industry, waterfront estate properties, boatyards and a tiny downtown boasting its own well-rated elementary school, chop house, gourmet store and more.  Located about 10 miles south of Easton along Route 50, Trappe is an easy place to miss when exploring the Talbot County area but should never be overlooked.  The Choptank River Bridge lies at the south end of the Trappe region and joins Dorchester County and the city of Cambridge to Talbot County.  For a waterfront home, farm or country-style town property, Trappe is definitely worth thorough exploration.
